LaSondra R. Howard is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing patient-focused, high-quality care. She values building strong, trusting relationships with herpatients, empowering them to make informed health decisions, and helping them achieve their optimal wellness goals. LaSondra earned her Master of Science in Nursing from UT Health Science Center at Houston (2016), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University (2013), and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a minor in Biology from the University of Houston. She is board certified by the American Academy ofNurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

With over a decade of healthcare experience, LaSondra has expertise in primary care, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s health, emergency nursing, and corrections healthcare. She has worked at esteemed institutions such as Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and Houston Methodist Primary Care Group – The Woodlands. Trusted by Dr. E. Joseph Upton to continue his legacy, she now leads Howard Family Medicine, PLLC. Her clinical skills include patient evaluations, diagnosis, chronic disease management, medication management, and root cause analysis.
